Everything depends on the time of booking tickets.
When airlines offer their flights for the first time about 11 months before the departure date, they charge a higher rate for them as they have many months to fill the seats on the flight. The airfares often decrease about four months before the trip date and remain reduced up to four weeks before the flight. Then, the prices start to increase again, as a lot of business travelers are ready to pay more for these tickets. The last-minute tickets offered during the travel date have the highest prices.
